For each family of hydraulic presses (bending and forming presses, forging presses, scrap presses and paper-pulp presses), Kastas has a separate sealing solution rather than one generic product for every application.
Standard products in this line are available from stock, and custom codes are produced in a short time; for a line where downtime costs money, that lead time matters.

Working conditions differ from press to press; speed and pressure in a hot-metal press are not the same as in a scrap press, and that difference determines the seal's material and dimensions.
Some of these seals are made to Kastas's global standard designs, while others are custom-built for the customer's press, based on a technical drawing or a worn sample part.
